Made from weldless steel tube, with steel ball head.
WHEELS
Steel rims for beaded edge tyres; 10 gauge nipples and double-butted spokes. Weatherproof ball bearing hubs.
TYRES
650x65 mm three rib, beaded edge Dunlop with two security bolts.
BRAKES
Front rim operated by right handlebar leaver. Rear brake acting on exterior of belt drum, and operated by pedal mounted independently of left foot-rest.
TANKS
Two gallon petrol tank of steel with solid drawn ends, non-splash filler cap 2” diameter.
ENGINE
Single cylinder, 85 mm bore x 88 mm stroke. Capacity 499 cc.
CARBURETTOR
Senspray handlebar controlled.
MAGNETO
High tension, positive drive, Vernier adjustment. Totally enclosed and weatherproof.
TRANSMISSION
1” belt.
CLUTCH
Multi plate, controlled by handlebar lever.
GEARING
Rudge Multi, ratios varied infinitely between high and low limits, 3.1/3 to 7 to 1 with 20in belt rim and 3-6 to 1 with 17.1/2 in. Belt rim. Patent No. 22400,11.
EXTRAS
Carrier (Reg design No 567465. Patent No 17975/10) Tubular frame. A metal tray with slide extensions forms a ridged support for tool bags.
